Our AKC registered American Yellow Lab Precious First Light (Precious) has been bred to gorgeous Deep Run CH/UKC CH Caer Bren Rugby. Rugby is a beautiful dog and very large. He looks a lot like POOH BEAR. :0) Rugby is an AKC registered English Lab. He is OFA Excellent, OFA Elbows Normal. He is ACVO Clear and current CERF, Optigen B, RD and OSD Clear, OFA Cardiac, CHIC. He is DNA tested CLEAR for Exercise Induced Collapse. Rugby is a champion in both the ring (beauty) and the field (brains).
Precious has excellent bloodlines and has earned her Canine Good Citizen title (with my special needs daughter as trainer), and enjoys excellent health. She is OFA good and is EIC clear. She is a beautiful dog and sweet as the day is long. She is also very large, currently topping the scale at 108 pounds.
The AKC registered puppies from this pairing will have both English (blocky, chunkier) and American (longer, taller, and more streamlined) traits which generally produce large blocky dogs, usually with even the females exceeding 100 pounds. These puppies come from excellent hunt and show lines but will also make wonderful family pets, companions, and couch potatoes.
